Since 1997, TechCare, LLC has been producing websites for companies and organizations located across the United States. Located in Fairfield County, Connecticut, TechCare is a US-based, female-run web development agency.
In addition to building amazing websites, we work with our customers on Social Media Campaigns, Blogging, Review management, and Search Engine Optimization, including Local Search. Our goal is to drive traffic back to your website; selling your services or products and generating leads.
We build all new website projects on WordPress.
We are a sponsor this year at the 2019 NYC Wordcamp because we feel strongly that our community of entrepreneurs, designers, developers and everyone in this industry should have a place to come together to learn and bounce ideas off of each other. We are a group of people who don’t wait for spoon-fed information; we are go-getters. Each one of us pursues our individual area of expertise, and we want to support each other because as each of grows, our industry grows, furthering our individual growth!
In 1993, the founder of TechCare, Jennifer DeRosa, began taking HTML classes at night for fun at Providence College while selling wine during the day. Building websites was a love of hers, and she began hand-coding websites in notepad for her extended family so that they could all keep up on what was going on with each other after logging on through dial-up to AOL, Earthlink or some other service.
After attending the Chubb Institute of Technology in New Jersey, Jennifer began a career in the IT industry, working as Novell Engineer, Groupwise Administrator (showing her age here, do you know what these are??), desk support technician, consultant, and managing teams of help desks in Fairfield County and New York City. During this time, Jennifer continued to develop websites for new clients on the side. Jennifer formed Executive Pages, LLC which became TechCare LLC in the late 1990s and branched out as a consultant to a plethora of clients in lower Fairfield County.
As the technology industry grew and became more specialized, Jennifer decided to follow her love and expertise of building websites and focused exclusively on this field. TechCare now specializes in building easy to navigate, beautiful, and SEO optimized sites on the WordPress platform. She has built a team of extremely capable, technical, and smart developers and designers to get the job done correctly for their clients.
