Mika Ariela Epstein is better known as Ipstenu, the Half-Elf Rogue. Working for DreamHost, Mika helps make WordPress and hosting better for everyone. When she isn’t reviewing plugins she’s helping in the support forums and speaking at WordCamps worldwide about code and open source technology. A self-taught guru on Multisite and .htaccess, she has a passion for writing and technology and blogs about them whenever possible.

John Eckman

After a first career as an academic, John’s been working in digital agencies for the last 15+ years, and with WordPress for the last 8. He has been one of the organizers for WordCamp Boston since 2010, and is the CEO of 10up. He now lives in Salem MA with his wife and dogs. He blog is Open Parenthesis.

Professional Photography and Video producer. Graduated a developer boot camp two weeks ago where he learned Azure Cloud and Windows Server Administration.

Helen is the Director of Platform Experience at 10up, where she is sponsored to work on WordPress full-time as one of its lead developers. Helen proudly lives in Jersey City, is a Virginian at heart, and a New Yorker by blood.

Christie Chirinos

Christie Chirinos is the newest partner in CalderaWP, the creators of multiple WordPress plugins including Caldera Forms, Ingot, FormWorks and URL Builder, taking on the role of business strategist. Christie brings with her experience as a community manager and digital project manager for various nonprofit organizations in New York City.

Kelly Dwan

Kelly Dwan is a Cambridge-based Code Wrangler at Automattic. She has worked on everything from small business websites, to higher education, to enterprise and big media. In her spare time, Kelly develops WordPress themes and contributes to the WordPress community.

Angelica Yarde

Angelica Yarde is the co-founder of Sevenality, a brand strategy agency, located in Orlando, Florida. She is also the owner of Studio 404 Paper and co-host of the Heart + Hustle Podcast. She has been a WordPress user for over a decade and is passionate about helping brands achieve their goals using design and user-experience based solutions. She helps out with the WordPress Orlando meetup group and enjoys being a type snob.

Andrea Fuggetta

Andrea is a senior software engineer at Ndevr, Inc, a distributed WordPress development company.
His interest for programming started at a young age, when his father bought him an Amstrad CPC464 coming with a huge BASIC (Locomotive Basic) manual, and the sleepless nights began.
During his experience as a developer he helped building successful sites for client such as Bloomberg, Time Inc., New York Times, Hearst and others.
Amongst his many hobbies you will find snowboarding, building IoT devices with Arduino, playing the guitar and spending time with his wife and newborn son.

Bruce Chamoff

Bruce Chamoff has been a web developer for 20 years and developer of WordPress plugins and themes for 9 years. After trying all of the major content management systems, Bruce found WordPress to be the most effective and fastest growing, so encouraging clients to use WordPress was an easy decision.

He has developed over 100 custom WP plugins and over 50 themes for Fortune 500 companies and has three successful Udemy courses on WordPress development.

In Bruce’s spare time, he performs with his band, records original music and spends time with his lovely daughter.

Adam Silverstein

Adam started programming in assembly code and learned Java when Netscape Navigator ruled the web – eventually embracing WordPress as his platform of choice. He is a release Deputy for WordPress 4.5 (and co-leading 4.5.1), lead developer of the WordPress REST API JavaScript client, a serial core contributing developer and a Lead Web Engineer at 10up. Adam loves long rafting trips, playing mbira, travel, taking walks and tending his over-sized garden.

Bud Kraus

Bud Kraus is a veteran web design instructor.  He teaches HTML, CSS and WordPress in continuing education programs for New York City colleges and businesses.  He also teaches WordPress privately online for groups and individuals.  When he’s not in class or teaching via webinar he’s assembling WordPress sites for small businesses and organizations.  And he loves to blog for others.

William Tam

Will started building websites in 1994 at a nuclear research facility partnered with CERN. Since then he’s worked for non-profit and educational organizations, including PBS’s national offices where he launched PBSKids.org. He’s done systems administration for Linux & Windows, developed applications in PHP, Perl, Java, ASP, and Javascript, built and managed online fundraising and advocacy systems, and done usability testing with 18-month-olds for a game he created for the Teletubbies website. Currently he focuses on systems architecture and external service integration, with a lot of emphasis on oAuth and social login.

George Stephanis

George Stephanis is a Squad Lead on the Jetpack Pit Crew at Automattic (the company behind WordPress.com). When not working on Jetpack, he spends his time contributing to Core, helping to run the WordPress Lancaster Meetup Group and WordCamp Lancaster PA, and is a regular on the WP Watercooler podcast.

Beth Soderberg

Beth Soderberg is an independent developer and digital communications strategist based out of Washington, DC. She focuses on building thoughtfully architected websites that enable each of her clients to optimize their online presence. She is also obsessive about clean code, solid design execution, and empowering the user. In her spare time Beth volunteers as the community representative for the WordPress Training Team, helps organize the WordPress DC Meetup, and is a co-organizer of the annual DCFemTech Hack for Good in Washington, DC.

Joe Pardo

Joe Pardo, a New Jersey-based dreamer, has always believed that society starts with you, and that to change society you must first change how you think.

In early-2014 Joe decided to leave his family’s $100 million business and pursue his dreams of owning his own business. Joe Pardo founded the motivational Dreamers Podcast [www.DreamersPodcast.com] to build his platform of helping others pursue their dreams.

By late-2015 Joe already has the resume to help elevate others to pursue their dreams.

Lulu Murphy

With over 20 years of computer programming experience at large companies such as AT&T, Paramount Pictures, and Johnson & Johnson, coupled with a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania and extensive technical writing experience, in 2003 Lulu branched out on her own and opened up WebSiteText, LLC.

At WebSiteText, Lulu acquired the experience setting up and redesigning websites from html templates. In the last five years, the switch was made from html to WordPress and all of her clients’ websites have been transitioned over.

Lulu’s other skills include writing SEO Web content that helps website organically rank in Google. Her company and many of her clients have enjoyed page-one Google ranking for years. Lulu divides her time between composing copy, designing websites, and overseeing all other proofreading, writing, and website projects.

Sonja Leix

Sonja is a location-independent WordPress designer and Digital Strategist. She’s an active member of the WordPress community, contributes to the Polyglots and design teams, and helps out with community events such as WordCamp New York 2014 and WordCamp Europe. Aaron Jorbin

Jessica Garbarino is the founder and owner of Every Single Dollar, a company dedicated to helping single women navigate the world of personal finance. Troy Dean

Troy Dean is a WordPress consultant from Melbourne, Australia. He co-founded the Video User Manuals plugin in 2008 and the WP Elevation business training program in 2013 that currently has over 500 active members. He speaks at conferences regularly and is also a professional singer, guitar player and voice over artist.
