Regional Train Service

New York City is a town built on (and over) rails. Here are some train stations served by both long-distance and regional trains service:

Penn Station

Penn Station is served by Amtrak, with connections to the Northeast Corridor (from Washington, DC to Boston) and upstate New York, as well as New Jersey Transit which serves Northern and Central New Jersey, with connections to Philadelphia, PA, Atlantic City, NJ and the Jersey Shore. Penn Station also connects to the Long Island Railroad and to the nearby PATH Train at 33rd Street/6th Avenue, coming from New Jersey.

Directions to Venue: Take the 2 3 to Borough Hall or the A C to Jay St – MetroTech.

Transit Time: 25 minutes

Grand Central Terminal

Grand Central Terminal is the terminal point of the Metro-North Railroad, which connects Manhattan to areas just north of the city, including Poughkeepsie, NY and New Haven, CT.

Location: 42nd Street and Park Avenue, Manhattan
Directions to Venue: Take the 4 5 to Borough Hall.

Transit Time: 25 minutes

Atlantic Terminal

The Long Island Railroad, which stops closest to the venue at Atlantic Terminal, connects Suffolk and Nassau Counties on Long Island to Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.

Location: Atlantic & Flatbush Avenues, Brooklyn
Directions to Venue: Take the 2 3 4 5 to Borough Hall.

Transit Time: 10 minutes

New York City is served by three Major Airports:

JFK – John F. Kennedy International Airport

Location: Queens, NYC

EWR – Newark Liberty International Airport*

Location: Newark, New Jersey
