WordPress is unique because of the people who love it &#8211; and that includes you!<\/p>\n<p>WordCamp is all about sharing knowledge and learning tons of cool new things we can do with WordPress. That&#8217;s where the speakers come in. <strong>Great speakers make a great WordCamp.\u00a0<\/strong>New York has a vibrant WordPress community and we want to highlight your expertise! First and foremost, it&#8217;s about giving back &#8211; but speaking at WordCamp is also a great way to raise your profile.<\/p>\n<p>WordCamp NYC will draw about 800 people at all levels of experience, all of whom are using WordPress in a different way. Whether you are a designer, developer, blogger, power user or new to WordPress, we are running an event that has something for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Topics can range from blogging tips to forum management, from &#8220;<span style=\"line-height: 24px;\">what is a plugin&#8221; to advanced\u00a0<\/span>plugin development. Perhaps you want to teach us how to find a good theme, reasons for using a child theme, tips on contributing to core, or something you&#8217;ve learned in your own experience that you just feel people need to know!
